Rokoraised his first investment at 19 for a financial analysis service startup and has since worked with early-stage startups through a venture studio . He now co-runs Patrons.vc, focused on building an intelligence engine for European tech by spotting great founders before the market does. Under Patrons Group, he started VC Angle— a weekly publication on European venture news. He’s drawn to the patterns that separate good startups from great ones — and believes the investors who truly understand those patterns will outperform everyone else.

Stepanhas been a private investor in equity markets since 2022, which eventually led him to alternative investments in the form of VC. Looking to gain further exposure and build practical experience, he joined the venture studiowhere Roko was active. Together they came up with the idea that later metamorphosed into Patrons.vc. Having joined the non-profit space in Austria to manage events for junior entrepreneurs in 2024, he believes in one defying quality among entrepreneurs — perseverance. His approach is heavily analytical, focusing on how founders execute and carry themselves rather than on how they pitch.
