I've been investing in equity markets since 2022, and that pulled me toward venture capital as the natural next step.
In Vienna, I've been close to the startup ecosystem through managing events for junior entrepreneurs and through the robotics club at WU Vienna, which gave me a close look at how technical founders think and build.
I draw a lot of my investment thinking from Peter Lynch's One Up on Wall Street. Lynch's argument is that you can outperform professionals by using what you already know to spot growing companies before the market does. That's essentially what we're trying to do at Patrons, just in venture instead of public markets.
I care less about how someone pitches and more about how they execute. I like reading financials, understanding unit economics, and figuring out why some companies compound while structurally similar ones stall. That's what I spend most of my time at Patrons doing.
